RESIDENTIAL ORIGINAL HOMEOWNER VINYL WINDOWS
Clawson Manufacturing Co. Inc. guarantees its vinyl windows to be free of defects in workmanship and material that might unreasonably affect their performance when installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for as long as they are owned by the original homeowner. Factory installed insulated glass units, except as detailed below, are warranted against seal failure for twenty years from the date of purchase.
Clawson windows purchased after April 1, 1998 for use in single family homes qualify for this warranty. It may not be assigned or transferred and shall not extend to subsequent owners.
There are certain conditions or applications over which Clawson Manufacturing
Co. Inc has no control. Consequently, defects or problems that arise from such conditions or applications are not the responsibility of Clawson Manufacturing
Co. Inc. and this warranty will not apply. They include: painting or finishing of interior or exterior surfaces; improper installation, field finishing or maintenance; accident; warpage of 1/4" or less of door stiles and rails; condensation or frost on exposed surfaces of the windows or doors; special glass or glazing; normal wear or discoloration of finishes; failures or operating difficulties due to abuse, misuse, alteration, misapplication, improper or insufficient handling or storage, exposure to corrosive fumes or condensates, subjection to abnormal stress from localized application of heat, high humidity, or imperfections in the glass that do not impair structural integrity or significantly obscure normal vision. Consequential damages such as the cost of repairing or replacing property damages as a result of product failure are not covered by this warranty.
This warranty does not apply to insulated glass units with an area greater than fifty square feet, non-standard applications, or thermal stress that occurs after two years from the original date of purchase. All windows sold for installation outside the United States are sold "AS IS" and WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES.

59808, Telephone 406-543-3161. Include the following information: your name, address and phone number; a description of the product for which the claim is made; the date of purchase; proof of purchase; and the nature of the product failure.
Should the product fail to perform according to the warranty, Clawson, at its option will: (1) furnish replacements for components found to be defective; or (2) refund the original purchase price of the window involved. Installation labor is provided for one year from the date of purchase, subject to Clawson authorization, after which time the cost of labor to remove a component or product or to install replacements is not included. The purchaser is responsible for the repainting or refinishing of any wood components that are replaced during any reglazing or replacement procedures. This warranty does not cover any incidental costs which might occur.
This warranty may be exercised only by the original registered homeowner and is not
transferable to subsequent owners. However
Clawson Manufacturing Co. Inc.'s standard Ten & Three Limited
Warranty, from the original date of purchase, would apply in the event of a change of ownership. Ask your dealer or write Clawson Manufacturing for details.
The duration of implies warranties, including the implied warranties for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited in their duration to the period of years provided for the express warranty. In no event shall any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, extend beyond the duration of the expressed warranty contained herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty sets forth Clawson
Manufacturing Co. Inc.'s maximum liability for its products and Clawson
Manufacturing Co. Inc. shall not be liable for any further loss, damages or expenses, including incidental or consequential damages, arising directly or indirectly form the use of its products, or for any amount in excess of the purchase price, whether the claim is for breach of warranty or negligence. In the event state law precludes exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, the duration of any such warranty and time and manner of presenting any claim thereon shall be the same as that provided in the express warranty stated herein.
